If you know anything about me, you would know that I have an unhealthy love affair with those one piece wonders called jumpsuits. I am forever grateful for the fashion of WWII: from the inspiration derived from wartime factory jumpsuit uniforms to double breasted commanding military coats donned by generals. They have all transcended into modern, contemporary fashion, especially for women. These uniforms traditionally tailored for men on duty are now worn by women at the desk, polished off with a blazer and then later dressed down with more skin for dinner.
And Virgos Lounge has done it again with their statement garments. This number unfortunately cannot be worn at work, but definitely for a special dinner date. (Not on the first few!) This piece has a few of my favor-rite things: sequins, embellishment and a plunging neckline. As I have advised before ("Rolling in the Deep" blog post), wearing clothing that shoes off beyond a modest amount of skin requires a balance. The dramatic plunging neckline is moderated by the elongated look the pants give.
Where would you wear this jumpsuit to?
